Thoroughness, consistency, value and authenticity define Frédéric’s professional practice. In his eyes, managing issues is like a chess game in which understanding the other player is key to making the right moves at the right time—and especially to winning the game.

Frédéric dedicated over eight years to managing issues for a northern Quebec resource processing company by overseeing its media, internal and government relations, while also contributing to its strategic development, notably in the sustainable development field. Prior to that, he handled communications for a company dedicated to the economic development of the James Bay territory. He also worked in the early 2000s as a national sponsorship program designer.

As a UQAM graduate with a bachelor’s degree in communications (public relations), he has dealt with multiple facets of business communications. His talent for charting the right path stems in part from his extensive involvement in the business community. Frédéric is a member of Conseil regional des partenaires du marché du travail du Nord-du-Québec and vice president of Comité regional ACCORD. He is also an officer of Fonds régional de solidarité FTQ Nord-du-Québec, a member of Fédération des Chambres de commerce du Québec’s Northen Devlopment committee. An avid amateur sports enthusiast, he has also acted as media coach for two Olympic athletes.
