Megan Rivas-Gagnon

Megan stands out for her creativity, versatility and desire to learn, qualities that naturally led her to public affairs and communications. With her team spirit and analytical approach, she is passionate about co-creation approaches to developing solutions tailored to the needs of organizations.

Drawn to the ever-changing landscape of the innovation and energy sector and its associated social, economic, and environmental challenges, Megan has dedicated a substantial portion of her career to this industry. During her university studies, she honed her skills with organizations such as Eidos Montréal and CAE. She also gained valuable agency and government experience as a communications advisor at the Quebec Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Energy. In particular, she coordinated a public consultation on clean energy in Quebec, bringing together experts, Indigenous communities and the general public. She is particularly interested in issues related to social acceptability, corporate communications and public affairs.

Megan has a bachelor’s degree in public relations from UQAM and has also been involved with the Groupe Femmes, Politique et Démocratie, the Salon du livre de Montréal and the Société québécoise des relations publiques (SQPRP).
