TACT is proud to strengthen its expertise and broaden its sphere of action in the life sciences sector with the hiring of two experts who boast an impressive track record in the health sector: Laurene Redding, in Toronto, and Jean-Frédéric Lafontaine in Montreal.
Having held several senior positions in pharmaceutical companies and in the insurance industry, Laurene Redding has recognized expertise in health economics, economic policy analysis and the implementation of complex business strategies. She joins TACT as vice-president and will be based in Toronto, serving clients across Canada.
Joining Tact as a senior manager, Jean-Frédéric Lafontaine has sought-after expertise in the life sciences sector, clinical research, the biopharmaceutical industry and artificial intelligence in healthcare, in addition to having worked in various government cabinets in Quebec City. A well-known figure within the Quebec life sciences cluster and a member of the committees and boards of several major organizations, he recently participated in aligning Montreal's artificial intelligence sector with the pharmaceutical industry. A lawyer and member of the Bar, he puts his keen understanding of the legal and regulatory environment to work for clients.
These new hires strengthen TACT's healthcare team, which also includes Patrick Manfred, an expert who is recognized for effective strategic planning, and Marylène Sacy Reeves, a pioneer in Quebec with more than 40 years of experience in the field.
"With the addition of these experts, TACT positions itself more than ever as a leader in public affairs and government relations in the life sciences field, not only in Quebec, but across Canada. This is a fast-growing sector and we are pleased to be able to offer an even more complete range of services to our current and future clients."
