TACT was founded on September 2011. Our name is a source of inspiration to our company culture.
To communicate with tact implies to respect one another, to be understanding of others’ concerns and to behave diplomatically.
We believe in the intelligence of the audience, the plurality of ideas and in ethical communication. TACT was born out of the ever-growing need to help organizations navigate through their complex issues and transformative changes.

A Nationwide Firm
In 2011, TACT simultaneously opened two main offices in Montréal and Québec City, a reflection of its founders’ ambition to set up and establish a national agency. With nearly a hundred employees, TACT is today the largest 100% Québec-owned public relations and government relations agency. In addition to its two original main offices, TACT has two bricks-and-mortar locations, one in Sherbrooke and another in Ottawa.
Currently managed by its founding partners François Ducharme, Manon Genest and Daniel Matte, TACT is a powerhouse in business and political communication. Our firm has an equally strong presence in various other fields including life sciences, energy and sustainable development, high-tech, economic and regional developments, investment and financial services, culture and education, to name a few. TACT is an organization anchored in the present and focused on the future. A new generation of leaders who grew up within the organization have become shareholders. Over the years, Jonathan Gagnon, Éric Gamache, Simon Poitras, Eva Falk Pedersen, Pascale Gagnon and Mikaël Guillemette have since become business partners.

From Québec City to Montréal to Sherbrooke to Ottawa, our team members work together on a daily basis to meet the needs of your organization. Our offices are designed as spaces for creation, reflection and collaboration, open to our colleagues coming from all over the region.

TACT’s headquarters sit right at the heart of the action in Québec City, just a few steps away from the National Assembly of Québec. This strategic location, close to the Plains of Abraham and Old Québec, is conducive to boosting creativity and reflection. Our open-plan offices encourage exchanges and collaboration between colleagues, in addition to offering a unique view of the Grande Allée.
