TACT is pleased to announce the arrival of Martine Hébert, an economist and former diplomat renowned among economic development stakeholders, policymakers, and the media, as Vice President and expert in economic and U.S. Affairs.
In addition to holding the prestigious positions of Québec’s Delegate General in Chicago from 2019 to 2021 and in New York from 2021 to 2024, Martine Hébert has built an extensive professional track record where public and political affairs have played a central role. With a master’s degree in economics, she has also been named an Invited Fellow at the prestigious CIRANO.
Over the past 30 years, she has contributed to developing public policies, laws, and regulations across the most prominent sectors of the Quebec and Canadian economies. She has served on several influential bodies, including the Board of Directors of the Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST), the Commission des partenaires du marché du travail, and the Conference of Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Governors and Premiers, among others. Her career also includes ten years as Senior Vice President and National Spokesperson for the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB) and various roles within prominent public and private organizations in Quebec and Canada.
