Dan Cooper is a pharmacist by training who combines clinical, pharmacoeconomic, and strategic expertise to advance access to therapeutic innovations. With nearly a decade at INESSS as lead pharmacoeconomist, Dan shaped ministerial recommendations and spearheaded revisions to evaluation frameworks for cancer treatments and rare diseases. He has served as an external expert for CADTH and founded his own firm, COOPERx Stratégies, along with the training platform USOPRx (now TACTRx). Holding a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and having completed negotiation training at Harvard, Dan excels at designing reimbursement strategies that transform complex challenges into practical, effective solutions.
